Garden Office Floor Plans: Nano vs Micro vs Macro

We keep our range to three fixed layouts — Nano, Micro, and Macro — rather than an overwhelming list of options. Each is a different footprint built around a different way of working, so you only pay for the space you actually need.
Nano — 2.5m x 1.5m, 3.75m²
The smallest layout in the range, from £9,050. A calm, focused workspace without dominating the garden — best suited to narrow gardens and solo work, where a single desk is all you need.
Micro — 2.5m x 1.8m, 4.5m²
From £9,485. Adds built-in storage and a softer studio feel, with enough room for a desk plus a storage wall and space for occasional client visits — a step up without needing a much larger garden footprint.
Macro — 2.5m x 2.5m, 6.25m²
From £10,460. The roomiest layout in the range, giving the strongest divide between home and work — suited to a dual-use office, a creative studio, or anyone who wants genuine breathing room rather than a single-desk space.
How to choose
Start with your plot: measure the space you actually have before you fall in love with a layout, and remember to leave clearance around the building for access and maintenance. Then think about use — solo focused work suits the Nano, a role that involves occasional visitors or extra storage points to the Micro, and anyone wanting a genuine second room (a studio, a gym, a dual-use space) is usually better served by the Macro.
Every layout shares the same build
Whichever footprint you choose, the build itself doesn't change — every layout is an insulated, self-build SIP kit, delivered free anywhere in the UK, backed by a 14-day money-back guarantee. The only real decision is footprint and budget; everything else about the kit is consistent across the range. See exactly what's involved in putting one together in ourself-build guide.
